Our story.....a little crazy but also how alot of people meet these days.  John and I met over the internet....a free dating site Ok Cupid. This type of dating was new to both John and myself.  We communicated thru the website for weeks before ever meeting.....I was cautious to meet him so I brought my sister along.  The first time I saw John was at a biker bar called Locked and Loaded....I had no clue it existed but he knew the place pretty well since he rode motorcycles.  At the end of the evening we knew this was the beginning of something beautiful and we were already making plans on seeing each other again...and again...and then some! Over the past few years we have had some rough times but we made it through and our love for each other has grown to an unbreakable bond. John and  I believe this is God at work. John said it took him almost 40 years to find me and he would wait another 40 years knowing I would be there waiting for him.

The wedding....it will be held at a small historic chapel White Dove 3025 Wendell Blvd.  Wendell, NC October12, 2013 @ 5pm.  The White Dove Chapel was restored to reflect the charm of the mission churches scattered among the Carribean Islands. We fell in love with the inside decor, it is reminisents of Switzerland's romantic chapels.

No traditional reception will be held after the ceremony, but we will be enjoying a dinner and wedding cake at the Lone Star Steakhouse and Saloon 13049 US 70 Hwy West Clayton, NC 27520.  All are welcome to join us to continue celebrating our new life together. 

Hawaii...That's what's up! Woop Woop! We are so excited about our trip to the beautiful islands of Hawaii. This will be John's first commercial flight...and our first real vacation. We will be staying in Maui the first five days then taking a puddle jumper to the Big Island where we will stay for the remainder of our trip. We have a lot of sight seeing planned and hopefully some well needed pampering.
